Ανθυποπλοίαρχος του Λιμενικού Σώματος, είναι απόφοιτος του Παντείου Πανεπιστημίου στο Τμήμα Ψυχολογίας και πρωταθλήτρια στο άθλημα της ιστιοπλοΐας.
Έχει υπάρξει πολλές φορές Πανελληνιονίκης, Βαλκανιονίκης, έχει κερδίσει μετάλλιο σε Παγκόσμιους, Πανευρωπαϊκούς και Μεσογειακούς αγώνες, έχει αποτελέσει μέλος της Εθνικής Ομάδας για 17 χρόνια, και μέλος της Ολυμπιακής Ομάδας για 2 συνεχείς τετραετίες.
Μια από τις σημαντικότερες στιγμές στην καριέρα της αποτέλεσε η συμμετοχή της στους Ολυμπιακούς αγώνες της Αθήνας, όπου και κατέκτησε την 11η θέση, αλλά και η 18η θέση που κατέλαβε στους Ολυμπιακούς αγώνες στο Πεκίνο.
Σήμερα, παράλληλα με τα καθήκοντά της στο Λιμενικό Σώμα, πραγματοποιεί στις εγκαταστάσεις του Αθλητικού Ναυτικού Ομίλου Γλυφάδας ένα δωρεάν πρόγραμμα εκμάθησης ιστιοπλοΐας σε τέκνα στελεχών του Λιμενικού Σώματος.
Chairman of the Electric Boat Association of Greece and CEO of ILIOFOS, a Greece-based corporation providing consultation and scientific services focussed on the manufacture, study and supervision of Electric–Hybrid cars and Public Transportation, Electromechanical Public Works, Industrial buildings and photovoltaic applications in the private sector.
In 2009 the company was selected by the European Union’s Smilies program for work in the field of electrification of Public Transportation and in 2011 began collaboration with leading companies of world self-propulsion, including NetGain Motors, Logena Automotive and UQM electric drive train Technologies.
In 2020 the Electric Boat Association of Greece will be holding its first series of solar races for high school students, to be run in Athens, Korfu and other mainland and island ports to be determined.
In his ‘spare’ time Mr. Apostolopoulos is a member of and Vice President for the G.A. of Handball Team of Serifato.
Evangelos Raptis was born in Athens in 1963. He received a Degree in Electronics with the title “Operation and Maintenance of Telecommunication Stations”, in 1983.
He received a Diploma in Military Telecommunications Operation and Maintenance, during his military service. He received a Certification in Basic structure of Microprocessors applications and development, from Hellenic Center of Productivity (ELKEPA), in 1987. He received a Certification in Basic Management from Hellenic Management Association, in 1992. He is a Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) / IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) from 2006.
His experience starts in 1988, as Technician and Operational Unit Leader for 12 years in Telecommunication Industry, as an Industrial Engineer in Defense projects for 8 years, in transfer of technology. Currently he is working as a Quality Engineer in Defense projects.
President of French Association for Electric Boats, is currently Associate Director and co owner of ODC Marine an innovative, French owned shipyard, based in Dalian China and focused on passengers and service boats. This shipyard is also representing the Beneteau, Lagoon and Monte Carlo Yachts brands in North East China as well as the maintenance expertise center in China for the French, Poitou Charente, leisure boats industry.
Having a special focus on renewable energies ODC Marine has been first worldwide to implement lithium based electrical and hybrid propulsion on passengers professional boats. Xavier is also vice president of the French association for the development of electric boats. With more than twenty five years of internal and external management consulting experience in holistic supply chain engineering and optimization, Mr. De Montgros has led optimizations of procurement, supply chains and services operations across the world in the automotive and personal computers industries, with over twenty years of leadership experience in the high-tech industry.
Prior to setting up his own firm in January 2010 Mr. De Montgros served as the Vice President of Services and Customer Satisfaction and the Supply Chain Strategy Director at Hewlett-Packard. AT HP, he led the world-wide HP and then HP/Compaq global supply chain transformation and outsourcing operations to reduce cost and improve inventory. Following the $19B acquisition of Compaq by HP, he led the world-wide integration of personal computers supply chains.
Kevin Desmond is the acknowledged world authority on electric boats, having literally written the book on the subject: “Electric Boats and Ships: a History”, published by McFarland & Co. in 2017. He was Chairman of the Electric Boat Association (UK) in the 1980s and also co-founded the French Electric Boat Association in 1994.
In 2018 Kevin launched his next project, Venice2028, a broadly-based initiative to follow the lead of Amsterdam and other cities and require that the motorboat fleets of the city’s canal be electrified by 2028.
He has been involved in the beginnings of numerous electric boat races over the past three decades and is organizing an all-electric boat regatta in 2019 as a high profile promotion of the Venice electrification project.

Has had a long career in the writing, direction and production of international advertising for some of the world’s largest clients and has won top awards in London, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Toronto.
Inspired by the Monaco Solar Challenge and the work of the Solar Sport One organization, he decided to bring this exciting and innovative sport to the waterfront of his home town, Toronto, where he was born on the islands that surround and create the city’s Great Lakes port and harbour.
In addition to being the Producer of the Toronto Solar Boat Races, He is Editor and Publisher of Plugboats.com, the international journal of electric boats, and President of the Electric Boat Association of Canada.
